DD 9; mini album

Hi y'all!
I’m back with another peak in my workshop history from January! This one may surprise you… I did a workshop together with my mom, hihi! She likes making mini albums (hehe, she doesn’t want to get dirty with ink and paint) so we went to The Scrapheap to make an album with Franca (that's her album on the picture, don't you just love that paper?). It really was a fun day and I enjoyed some quality time with my mom, she’s the best 😃 (and no, she's not in the pictures...)

DD 8 : art journaling with Astrid

And then it happens again, some unexpected changes and my blog gets neglected… let’s fix it!!
I started 2017 with some creative workshops at The Scrapheap in Holland and I would like to share them with you. Today I’m sharing the first workshop I did in 2017, an art journaling workshop with the lovely Astrid. I really like her colorful style and the way she finishes of her pages, nothing to complicated and pretty! Can you see at the picture I had fun? Haha! The picture of the journal page is Astrid's because of course, mine isn't finished yet, oops :-)

DD 7: Dina Wakley

Hi bloggers!!

Today I'm time traveling... back to august 2014... I can hear you think "why?" Well, because I found a picture and I found out that I didn't post anything about it here on my blog! And because it still makes me smile and giggle, I'm sharing it with you today! So, here weg go...

Back in august 2014 I went to visit my relatives in the USA. I already knew they had a scrapbooking store in town, so just for fun I checked their workshop scedule for that summer. Ow my god, my jaw dropped when I saw Dina Wakley was coming to teach there! I mean, THE Dina !! So I immediatly contacted the store and wow, I still could subscribe for her workshops! That was really such an amazing feeling! I was going to see my relatives, I was going to travel in the USA and I was going to meet Miss Dina Wakley, how many happy dances can you do in one day?!

Here are some pictures that capture my unforgettable day with Dina, enjoy...

DD 6 : Athanasia

Hi bloggers!

So, seems that the timer thing on blogger isn’t my friend… have to figure that one out! So here the post that should’ve gone online yesterday…

After a cozy and fun evening together at the hotel (wow, I really ate to much, haha) and a good night sleep we were ready for day 2 of the retreat with Miss Athanasia Papantoniou. Really, she’s so sweet!! Also, her art journal pages and mixed media projects are so colorful they give you and instant smile! We started our day with an art journal page using different media and layers, really like how that turned out! And after lunch (yummy) we made a mixed media piece on a canvas with some yummy texture! I really enjoyed Athanasia’s workshops and I learned how to use my products in different ways so yeah, a perfect second day! Thank you Lia for this amazing experience! I have a lot of pictures this time ‘cause I like to capture the memories… enjoy!

DD 5; Nika Rouss

Hi bloggers
Today I have another nostalgic post… in October 2016 I attended another retreat weekend @ De Craftorij in Holland. Unfortunately that was my last workshop there, because the shop closed… So another lookback with a smile and tear… I have to admit that it was yet another perfect organized weekend! Marie-Anne (my crea bestie) and I hit the road on Friday, so we could appear all fresh and fruity on Saturday for the workshop with… Nika Rouss! Nika is really so much fun!! She makes amazing artwork, you can find a lot of videos on YouTube (Nika in wonderland), check her out!! It was an honor to take a class with Nika. The first class was an intuitive painting on a canvas, with lots of layers, colors, stenciling… At the beginning I didn’t really knew what to think, I hated my creation. But at the end I kinda had the feeling it all came together and I kinda like my canvas now J in the afternoon we made a journal page and oooh, I love the colors I used! Here are some pictures that capture the day. I’ll be back tomorrow with part II of the amazing weekend…
